The Arc of Ventura County is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. For nearly 70 years, we have proudly and consistently provided innovative and meaningful services to individuals with IDD and their families. This important mission could never be achieved without incredible community partners, such as the Knights of Columbus. For over 25 years, your annual Tootsie Roll Drive has provided invaluable support and empowered thousands of individuals with IDD to achieve their goals toward a life of self-direction.
The Arc of Ventura County offers many programs and services, which enrich th lives of nearly 700 individuals with IDD throughout Ventura County. Our shared commitment to empowering the individuals we support encourages opportunities that lead to greater independence and self-determined lives in regular everyday settings. Informed decisions, positive changes, as well as integration and participation in the community are fundamental principles of all our programs.
On behalf of all of us, thank you for your esteemed partnership. Your Council’s tireless efforts are very much appreciated, and we thank you for your commitment to advancing equity and respect for people with IDD in our community.
